Abstract

Google's Approach to Securing Apps in the Cloud Earning and maintaining people's trust while making the world's information accessible is a security challenge of unique scale. In this talk, we will discuss some of the practical ways Google approaches securing web apps in the Cloud, including our internal organization, proactive defenses, testing strategies, review and audit process, and some of our external collaboration efforts with the larger security community.

Biography

Parisa Tabriz works as a software engineer in the Security Team at Google. She received her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and was advised by Nikita Borisov.
